The elements of the SANUM therapy

The presence of certain microorganisms is a fundamental requirements for the maintenance of human health. The entire body is colonised by microorganisms (bacteria and fungi). They can be found i.a. in the intestine, in the lungs, on the skin and mucous membranes, even in the blood and genetic material (DNA). In addition to the formation of various metabolic products, micro organisms also perform important regulatory functions in the body.

As current research shows, disturbances in this biocoenosis (dysbiosis) are the basis for the development of diseases. The cornerstones of the SANUM therapy are therefore bringing the biocoenosis of microorganisms back into symbiosis and having a regulating effect on the environment. The SANUM therapy uses three different elements to achieve this.

The three elements of the SANUM therapy

System

Regulation

The medicinal products of System-regulation include Myco-preparations and the Carboxylic-acid-preparations. The Myco-preparations are prepared from specific components of various fungi. The Carboxylic-acid-preparations consist of various physiological carboxylic acids.

The aim of the element System-regulation is to support the treatment of both acute and chronic diseases in accordance with the corresponding symptoms.

Base

Regulation

Every day, the elimination and neutralisation of acids is a great challenge for the body. On the one hand, acids are formed in the normal metabolism, but acids are also released to a varying degree during the breakdown of food, depending on the food.

The base-preparations consist of various alkaline ingredients and minerals and support the acid-base balance.

Immune

Regulation

The Bacto-preparations are made from special bacterial components and are assigned to the element of Immune-regulation. These Bacto-preparations can be used as prophylaxis, but also work well in the case of a reaction blockage or an excessive reaction of the immune system.

The SANUKEHL®-preparations of the immune regulation are prepared from cell wall components of bacteria and fungi. The main focus of this product group is to support the body in its efforts to eliminate chronic disease foci.

System regulation

The human organism is in constant exchange with its environment. In the process it is constantly exposed to various stimuli. Various factors can act as stimulus, e.g. mechanical stress, solar radiation (external stimulus) and bacteria or viruses (internal stimulus). The body possesses a number of natural regulatory processes at its disposal to respond to these stimuli and keep the body in balance. In a healthy state, this also succeeds without problems. In the case of chronic hyperacidity, dysbiosis of the micro organisms or perhaps even an infection or symptoms of acute illness appear. In many cases, the body manages to heal the acute symptoms without assistance. However, if this is not successful, the acute disease can turn into a chronic disease. Acute symptoms, in addition to a low-grade inflammatory reaction (silent inflammation), however also chronic diseases. During the chronic course of the disease, episodes with acute symptoms often occur, which can be very stressful.

In order to support the body, the medicinal products of System-regulation can be used already at the first signs of illness, but also in acute phases of chronic illness processes.

The aim of System-regulation is to treat both acute and chronic symptoms of illness in a supportive manner in accordance with the symptoms. The medicinal products of System regulation are prepared from specific components of various low fungal strains (Myco-preparations) and psychological carboxylic acids (Carboxylic-acid-preparations).

system regulation using the example of cystitis

Especially women know this problem after exposure to cold. After sitting on a cold surface (external stimulus) develops cystitis. Surprisingly, not everyone is subsequently affected by cystitis (natural regulation). If, for example, the mucous membrane of the bladder is already irritated in advance, then an inflammation is much more likely to occur after exposure to cold (acute symptoms). In the further course, in many patients the cystitis heals, but in some it does not and the inflammation turns into a chronic process (chronic symptoms), in which acute phases occur. Myco-preparations of the System-regulation are used to treat acute cystitis. These are made from specific fungal components

Base regulation

Every day, hundreds of reactions take place in the body without you noticing. However, these depend on the same reaction conditions being present whenever possible. This condition is called the internal environment. An important component of the internal environment is the acid-base balance, but the content of minerals and trace elements also plays an important role. Every day, the elimination and neutralisation of acids is a great challenge for the body. On the one hand, acids are formed in the normal metabolism, but acids are also released to a varying degree during the breakdown of food, depending on the food. Foods with high acidic load are made from/with animal protein and products made from white flour or with refined sugar.

To neutralise the acids, the body uses various minerals and trace elements. In addition, acids are excreted every day through the kidneys, lungs and intestines. Unfortunately, however, the body can only excrete a certain amount of acids every day, and the body’s mineral deposit is not limitless either. If the daily amount of acid exceeds this value, acids remain in the body and can only be excreted the next day.

However, if the amount of acid produced is again too high on the following day, acids remain permanently in the various tissues and cannot be excreted or neutralised. In the long run, this leads to problems, since too much acid in the body permanently changes the acid-base balance, impairs many important metabolic reactions (e.g. in the immune and hormone systems) and is causally involved in diseases such as osteoporosis, muscle atrophy, high blood pressure and metabolic diseases such as insulin resistance and type 2 diabetes. Furthermore, a modified environment also influences the microorganisms.

If the cell interior and the intercellular space are also heavily loaded with acids, a change in the diet alone is often no longer sufficient. The body must receive specific support and be supplied with minerals.

Within the scope of the SANUM therapy this is what the products of the Base-regulation are used for. The preparations consist of various alkaline ingredients and minerals. The aim of Base-regulation is the support of the acid-base balance.

Base regulation using the example of Osteoporosis

The regular consumption of foods that are broken down in the body under the formation of acid can lead to a low-grade metabolic acidosis / hyperacidity in the body. If this persists over a long time, it leads to the activation of osteoclasts. Osteoclasts break down bone substance and thereby provide minerals to the body also to neutralise the acids in the body. However, due to this mineral depletion, the bone loses substance and osteoporosis develops. This bone loss cannot be stopped by the sole supply of minerals (e.g. calcium). Only by balancing the low-grade metabolic acidosis / hyperacidity can osteoporosis be treated in the long term. For this purpose it is important to deacidify both the extracellular space and the intracellular space. To this end, therapists can use the preparations ALKALA N (extracellular deacidification) and ALKALA S (intracellular deacidification).

Base regulation using the example of stress

Stress cannot always be avoided. However, when stress persists, it leads to health problems. Stress causes excess acidity in the body. Under stress, the body ramps up the production of the hormones adrenaline, noradrenaline and cortisol. This causes a lasting change in the hormone balance and these hormones are broken down under acid formation. Hyperacidity is further enhanced by an improper diet with acidic food. To restore the acid-alkaline balance in the body, therapists can use the preparations ALKALA N (extracellular deacidification) and ALKALA S (intracellular deacidification)

The SANUM Diet (light) Nutrition in Balance

Nutrition contributes significantly to well-being and health. It greatly influences and regulates the body‘s metabolism. Nutrition therefore plays a decisive role in the prevention and treatment of diseases. An essential goal is to maintain or restore acid-base balance with a good supply of nutrients. This is the foundation for an intact inner milieu as the basis for a healthy metabolism. The SANUM Diet offers a guideline for nutrition in balance as it can be applied for the alleviation and prevention of acute and chronic diseases.

The SANUM Diet can therefore be used as an important building block in the holistic treatment concept of SANUM therapy.

FLYER SANUM DIET (LIGHT)

immune regulation

The body’s immune system protects us from pathogens. To ensure that this always works well, the immune system must also exercise regularly. There are several ways to ensure this. A diet rich in alkalines with lots of minerals and vitamins, sufficient sleep and regular exercise are good ways to strengthen and support your immune system. For a good training, the immune system needs in addition to a good supply also regularly stimulating stimuli of microorganisms. This contact between immune cells and microorganisms takes place particularly in the intestine and mucous membranes. Various components of microorganisms have positive stimulus on our immune cells, such as the cell wall and various components from the cell interior. However, also substances formed by microorganisms stimulate the immune system. However, this stimulating effect can only be triggered by certain microorganisms. The immune system distinguishes very precisely between friend and foe, which is why pathogens trigger a defensive immune response.

This positive impulse of certain microorganisms for the immune system can also be used therapeutically. Current research shows that different bacteria have a simulating stimulus on different cells of the immune system. Interestingly, the reaction to micro organisms is not always the same. The immune response is increased where it is too weak (in the case of susceptibility to infection) and weakened where it is too strong or excessive (in the case of an allergy). This phenomenon is also called immune modulation.

There are preparations made from specific bacterial components (Bacto-preparations) within the scope of the SANUM-therapy. They are assigned to the element of Immune-regulation. The different bacterial have different focuses (organs, tissues) in the therapy and can thus be applied in a targeted manner.

If the body falls ill with an infection, bacteria, for example, have managed to break through the initial barriers of the immune system, multiply and often spread throughout the body. The immune system does not always succeed in eliminating the pathogen directly. Some pathogens can retreat into hard-to-reach areas (e.g. into nerve tissue) for a long time where the immune system can hardly reach them. A weakened immune system can also make it easier for the microorganisms to spread throughout the body. Many bacteria have also learned how to specifically evade the immune system. Under various conditions (such as antibiotic administration), bacteria can grow in an altered manner, the bacteria grow without a cell wall. Current research suggest that some of these cellwall deficient bacteria forms (CWDB) can stay in the body for long periods of time, multiply, and even be transmitted via the placenta. Moreover, toxins can be formed that can spread to surrounding tissue. CWDBs have also been detected in healthy individuals without them showing symptoms. Changes in the environment, however, lead to a increase of these CWDBs, and as a consequence to disturbances in the organism up to the development of chronic diseases. Presumably, they are also involved in the development of autoimmune diseases. Many autoimmune diseases are preceded by an infection and some molecular structures of CWDBs resemble host structures and thus trigger an autoimmune response.

In the course of the holistic SANUM-therapy, the elimination of these CWDBs is therefore an important step, as they can continue to promote disease in the background. The SANUKEHL®-preparations of Immune-regulation are prepared from cell wall components of bacteria or fungi. The main focus of the SANUKEHL®-preparations is to support the body in its efforts to eliminate chronic disease foci.

Immune regulation using the example of cystitis

In many cases, cystitis heals and the affected person has no further problems. However, many women know the problem. Cystitis returns after a short while, often despite the fact that the doctor had prescribed an antibiotic. Obviously, the immune system has problems to cope with the infection. This can have various causes. One possible cause is the emergence of cell wall deficient forms of bacteria (CWDs). Another cause may be a weakened immune system.

Bacto-preparations of the element Immune-regulation are used to stimulate the immune system. These are made from specific bacterial components. Bacterial components (such as cell wall structures, nucleic acids) can stimulate a variety of immune reactions in the body, which support and activate the immune system. The different bacteria have different emphases in therapy.

Many recurrent cystitides are treated several times using an antibiotic. However, cell wall deficient forms of bacteria (CWDs) can develop in the bladder under these stress conditions. The bacteria lose their cell wall and now many antibiotics no longer work (those that attach to the cell wall). Another problem is that the CWDs are hardly detected by the immune system. As a consequence, these CWDs can now multiply further and trigger a localised inflammation. However, the pathogen often cannot be eliminated. How would this problem manifest itself in a cystitis? The mucous membrane of the bladder is chronically inflamed with the known symptoms. However, pathogens can no longer be detected in routine diagnostic, as CWDs cannot be grown on standard culture media.

The elimination of these CWDs and their metabolites is the aim of the SANUKEHL® preparations, which consist of specific cell wall extracts of various bacteria and fungi. The appropriate SANUKEHL® preparation is selected based on the identified pathogen or, if not known, on corresponding disease.
