LUFFASAN ® is used as an Immune remedy mainly for congestion caused by inflammatory processes. Since both hay fever and rhinitis (sinusitis) are common in the Western world, the use of Luffa operculata is becoming increasingly common in Europe.
From experience, LUFFASAN ® is used for conditions related to runny nose and allergic rhinitis, but also for sensitive mucous membranes, headaches and dry mouth.
Within the elements of SANUM therapy it belongs to the medicines of SYSTEM-REGULATION.
Hay fever is an allergy to the pollen of various plants. In addition to allergic reactions to grass and cereal pollen and some herbs, many people are also allergic to the pollen of early flowering trees such as hazel, alder and birch. Due to the flowering season of the plants, the symptoms of hay fever occur especially in spring and summer. However, due to mild winters and long warm periods in late autumn, flowering times can change and more and more frequently patients with hay fever suffer from allergic symptoms from February to October/November. The conjunctiva of the eyes and the mucous membrane of the nose are most frequently affected by symptoms. There is swelling and irritation of the mucous membranes with increased lacrimation, runny nose and sneezing attacks.
Rhinitis:
A cold (rhinitis) causes inflammation of the nasal mucosa. The mucous membrane becomes sore and secretes more watery or purulent secretions and swells. The cause of this inflammation is usually an infection with viruses, but allergic reactions can also lead to a cold. In this case, if it is an allergy to pollen, it is called hay fever. In the case of an allergy to dust mites or animal hair, on the other hand, you speak of allergic rhinitis.
LUFFASAN ® 4X - Tablets
Composition: 1 tablet contains: Medically active substance: 250 mg Luffa operculata 4X trit. Other constituents: lactose, potato starch, magnesium stearate.
Indication: Hay fever, cold; headache, dyspepsia.
Contraindications: Do not administer in cases of known hypersensitivity to Luffa operculata.
Side effects: Because of the specific organic components of LUFFASAN®, theoretically, hypersensitivity may occur. In this case, discontinue medication and treat symptomatically.
