LIPISCOR® - OMEGA-3 FATTY ACIDS FROM FISH OIL

Polyunsaturated fatty acids belong to the essential fatty acids that cannot be synthesised by the body itself. Therefore, they must be ingested through food so that they are available to the body in sufficient quantities. These essential fatty acids also include the omega-3 fatty acids eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docohexaenoic acid (DHA), which only occur naturally in fatty cold-water fish.

LIPISCOR® capsules contain EPA and DHA as re-esterified triglycerides with a high bioavailability and a triglyceride content of 90%. This high bioavailability is achieved through a special manufacturing process. As a result, each capsule of LIPISCOR® contains 400 mg EPA and 200 mg DHA. The fish oil used for LIPISCOR® comes from sustainable, certified catches (FOTS) and is regularly analysed for various heavy metals and environmental toxins.

According to EFSA, the positive effect is achieved with a daily intake of (1) 3 g EPA and DHA; (2) 2 g EPA and DHA; (3) 250 mg EPA and DHA; (4) 250 mg DHA. *The total intake from food and this food supplement must not exceed the daily intake of 5 g of EPA and DHA.
