The remedy ALBICANSAN ^® is made from the yeast Candida albicans. Candida albicans is a normal component of the intestinal flora. Package sizes

The following dosage forms are available: 10 ml dropper bottle 5X, 1 ml ampule 10 and 50 5X, 10 suppositories 3X,
20 capsules 4X, 30 g tube of ointment 3X.

Dosage

Unless otherwise prescribed: 1 ampule of 1 ml to be injected either intramuscularly, subcutaneously, intracutaneously or intravenously, 1-3x weekly. Treatment of more than 8 weeks depends on the advice of the physician or health care professional.

ALBICANSAN® D5 contains sodium, but less than 1 mmol (23 mg) of sodium per 1 ml, i.e., it is nearly "sodium-free."

Composition: 1 ml liquid dilution for injextion contains: Medically active substance: 1 ml Candida albicans e volumine mycelli (lyophil., steril.) 5X aquous dil. (HAB, regulations 5b and 11, liquid solution D1 with water for injection).

Contraindications: Do not administer in cases of known hypersensitivity to yeast fungi (Candida albicans).

Side effects: Because of specific organic components of ALBICANSAN®, theoretically, hypersensitivity may occur. In this case, discontinue medication and treat symptomatically.
