ALKALA^® "S" is a base citrate powder with potassium, magnesium and calcium in natural proportions, as also found in many fruits and vegetables and in the human body. Potassium, magnesium and calcium are among the most important minerals. They are essential for the body and must be supplied through food, as the body can not produce them itself. Base citrates are organic mineral compounds consisting of two components:

- Alkaline minerals such as potassium, magnesium, calcium
- basic salts (citrates)

and are very well absorbed and utilized by the body.

The good bioavailability of citrates is also related to the fact that they enter the cells directly and contribute to their deacidification. Especially in today's fast-paced world, poor nutrition, stress and too little exercise often lead to mineral deficiencies or even overacidification of the organism. An overacidification of the organism can lead to the fact that the cells are no longer able to keep the acid-base household in balance.
